Here's What Happened...

Our Inaugural Social Innovation Summit has come to an end, thank you to all of those who attended. We heard from many amazing speakers throughout the event and covered a bunch of topics around technology and social impact.

Our first keynote speaker, Kelly Hutchinson,  Lead Organiser of the Digital Innovation Festival set the context for our whole event with her presentation “The Key Ingredients of Digital Social Innovation”. We learned how digital inclusion and shared values can make a huge impact on the society and how Social Media can be utilised for social good. We also looked at how real world problems can be solved by using digital and different processes for capacity building.

The day was wrapped up by some hot topics, data for impact, philanthropy and investment for social impact.

Social Innovation does not involve one single sector, it involves every industry sector and every individual on the planet. This is why we will be running monthly events for all of 2019.
